The Accidental Pervert is a show that has nine lives or maybe a hundred. Dennis Larkin are TFN NOW! Correspondent had been a little bit obsessed with this sexy little show, hence his penis microphone. So we made a visit to the creators of the Accidental Pervert at the 13th street Repertory Theater.

Called "hilarious" (Broadway World) and "engaging" (TheaterMania), The Accidental Pervert is a laugh-out-loud play that tells the awkwardly poignant story of a boy's journey into manhood after discovering his dad's X-rated video tapes hidden in a bedroom closet. He subsequently develops an addiction to pornography that continues until the age of 26, when he meets his wife to be, and finds himself struggling to find the balance between fantasy and reality.

Let acclaimed performer and comedian Andrew Goffman take you on a whirlwind tour of his funny romance with smut magazines, video vixens, and off-color fantasies while you roll in the aisles. However, it's not all laughs in this layered show, which ends on a touching moment of redemption as he struggles to find true love and perspective through real-life relationships.

The Accidental Pervert has eclipsed 500 performances in the legendary Greenwich Village area of New York. It was first performed on Nov 16th, 2005 at the 45th Street Theater in New York City as part of the Double Helix Theater Festival. From there, it moved to the Triad Theater, running from February 2 to February 24, 2006. The play then began a longer run at The Players Theater, also in NYC, from January 23, 2010 until June 25, 2011. The play moved to its current home, the 13th Street Repertory Company, on July 15, 2011.

On August 19, 2011, The Accidental Pervert premiered in Argentina at the ND/Ateneo in Buenos Aires’ Cultural Center with Argentinian comedian, TV and radio personality Cabito (Eduardo Javier Cabito Massa Alcántara) in the starring role. The Accidental Pervert begin a second international run April 9th, 2013, in Panama City, Panama, at the famed La Quadra Theatre, one of the most popular theatres in the country. Aaron Zebede plays the role of The Pervert.
